Reviews and Ratings
Despite the slightly outdated appearance due to traffic noise, the hotel offers spacious rooms with very comfortable beds, and the added luxury of a bathtub. The diverse entertainment options provided by the Saga rep enhance the stay, making it a pleasant experience overall.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with a really good size and a very cozy bed. The bath in the room was a bonus after my early morning arrival. The only downside was the small size, but it did have decent storage space.
The hotel had a lovely balcony with sea view and a great location near the harbor. The service was excellent, though language could be an issue at the bar. The dining options were good but could use more variety. Overall, a superb location for exploring downtown Ponta Delgada.
My stay at the hotel was exceptional! The room had a beautiful view of the sea and marina, and it was ready for me early after my morning arrival at 7 am. The service was top-notch, and the staff went above and beyond to assist me in various ways. The central location was convenient, although the poorly insulated windows were a downside. The dining experience, while initially good, was inconsistent during my stay. The facilities overall were satisfying.
The hotel is wonderfully located right on the harbor, across the street from the dive shop and promenade. The rooms offer a choice of ocean view or land view, with a higher view that includes a Dolce Gusto espresso machine. The service staff, especially the cleaning ladies on floor 2, were always welcoming and friendly, though the restaurant and reception were less enthusiastic. The dining experience, while providing good food quality, lacked variety, especially for vegetarians. Overall, the location is excellent, the service is friendly, but the dining options could be improved.
The hotel offers rooms with old stylish furniture from the 90s, which may not be very modern looking, but provide water and harbor views along with a balcony. They are comfortable, spacious, and conveniently located within walking distance to the heart of Ponta Delgada. The rooms are clean and spacious, equipped with good toiletries, a complimentary bottle of water, daily renewed fruit basket, and all the basics expected in a Spa facility.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were nice, and the hotel staff was really friendly and attentive. However, there were some disturbances from barking dogs as the rooms faced the backyard. The bathroom was clean and well-equipped with soft towels, but the view was just of the land.
